Lodz Kaliska

Lodz Kaliska has been in opposition for 30 years. 30 years of artistic activity whose aim has always been to fight for the independence of an individual against the repressive society, politically incorrect and masculine.

Ireneusz Bec

For years Ireneusz Bec has been painting large formats, experimenting with violet. He paints with large brushstrokes and finds inspiration in the works of American Abstract Expressionists of the forties. Violet adds a spiritual dimension to his works.

Dominik Borkowski

Dominik Borkowski paints and draws. He comes from Czestochowa and studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (1999-2004). He was finalist of the “Painting of 2005” contest organized by the magazine Art & Business in Warsaw. He also has connections to Olympia Gallery, where in 2006 he had his first solo exhibition “A simple story”. He took part in several group exhibitions organised by Olympia Gallery: “Cake baking forms” 2008; “Olimpia, Olympia” and “(r)evolution” in 2009. He lives and works in Krakow.

Ewa Ciepielewska

Since the beginning in 1980 Ewa Ciepielewska has been part of the Polish Luxus Group. She was co-author of a Cracow magazine “On Friday Evening”, and worked along with “Flying Festival Outside the Walls”, VOLANS project and other interesting artistic events. Ciepielewska enthusiastically co-operates in ecological and socially engaged projects whose collective objective is to save the world.

Katarzyna Kmita

Many people found the combination of folk motifs and pop art stylistics difficult to understand. A very simple idea of using the technique of cut-outs to talk about up-to-date subjects turned out to be ingenious and was eventually appreciated.

Robert Motelski

Nature is the primary interest of Robert Motelski, which places him close to Jackson Pollock. However, his painting is not as isolated. Its simplicity lies in its minimalist composition which sometimes reflects the spirit of Eastern calligraphy.

Kamil Stanczak

Kamil Stanczak is a painter, designer of objects and illusionistic paintings. He also creates machines with untypical applications, e.g. a device for making paintings.

Piotr Wachowski

Piotr Wachowski is a very talented, up and coming painter. His first works were produced with the use of the ultraviolet technique, worked out by the artist himself. He draws from the variety of contemporary culture with a slight touch of pop. Intelligent, brilliant! Wachowski’s work shows us what we live among.
